Walk out of the main gate at Old Post Office. Turn left. Walk past Errington Reay Pottery on your right. Walk past The Bowes Arms on your right and The Village Store on your left. Keep walking on the same road for ½ a mile until you get to the entrance of Bardon Mill Village Hall on your left. You’ll see a picnic area and playground in front of you. And there’s a nice woodland walk with wooden toadstools and carved wooden benches behind that.
