Chainley Burn is 3 metres from your private deck. It’s dense with birds the entire year round.

In summer, Chainley Burn is gentle but constant hiss-and-trickle – alive with ducks, fish and other wildlife. You may even see fish jumping back up the river-flow.

In winter, Chainley Burn is a different kind of lively, a beautiful but noisier rushing waterway, three feet deeper than in summertime. Rain and melting show from the hills around Hadrian’s Wall see to that.
