When it comes to pricing at Old Post Office, we keep things simple and fair.

Here are the two ways that we and anyone else in the hospitality industry handle Peak Season versus Off-Peak Season Pricing.

First.

First, at busy times, some of our costs rise.

For example, labour costs bump up a little because we turn around more studios, more quickly, with absolutely no drop in quality and cleanliness.

And the need for super-fast repairs and renewals increase too in Peak Season.

(We want every guest to have the same amazing experience. So, for example, regular paint touch-ups and appliance replacements are not uncommon when we are super-busy).

We cover these costs with an average 12% increase in Peak Season versus Off-Peak Season.

Second.

The second reason we could increase what we charge at busy times is simply because more people want to come to us, so their choice is restricted and this scarcity creates an opportunity for us to (let’s say) make the most of the situation.

We decided how much to add on to our prices for this reason, on day one.

It’s 0%.

Summary.
