We Didn’t Win an Award. We ARE An Award!

Victoria Taylor at Old Post Office May 2021

Here’s a copy of an article that appeared in Victoria Taylor’s newsletter last week.

Victoria, just so you know, is a consultant famous for helping brands to create world class experiences. Particularly brands in the hospitality sector.

So if you want to explore accessing this kind of high-end support, you know where to go. Here: www.victoriatayl.uk.

Anyhow.

That article from mid June 2021.

Here it is:

In May I was fortunate to head North to Northumberland and stay in a fabulous place called The Old Post Office.

I met the owner Mychael through LinkedIn and we shared various digital conversations, a couple of zoom chats and some really interesting discussions. The way Mychael does business is ‘proper’.

Him, his partner Lisa and 4 year old daughter Izobel have created an experiential heaven. You know me, I’ve visited a lot of gorgeous hotels and hospitality venues in my time, The Old Post Office was special. I won’t ruin the surprises, but I will tell you:

It. Blew. My. Mind.

Experience heaven.

So, I’m gifting a stay to one of you, for 2 nights. I want one of you to go and experience the magic up there too with your significant other / family.

I don’t want you to do the typical likes, shares etc on posts to ‘win a stay’ – that’s a bit of an old tactic! But what I would love is for you to email me back with a couple of sentences about WHY you would LOVE to have a break away.

You can share what you like, I just want to know what it would mean to you.

I’ll then draw and announce the winner and share it in an email with you. You have 72 hours to let me know why you would love to stay. That is by 12:12pm on Wednesday 16th June.

You will be able to take your stay on a selected 2 days of your choice, where availability permits!

What I can promise you is that you are in for a treat. I can’t wait to hear what you think of it!

I would love to be able to send you all, I can’t do that, but what I can promise you, is that I will keep providing you with lots of experience insights over the next 12 months, and plenty of care, attention and nurturing, because that is what it is all about.

If you would like to check out The Old Post Office, take a look at their WEBSITE. You can follow them on Instagram HERE too.

And finally, HERE is an interview that I recorded with Mychael during my stay if you fancy a watch, it will take around 20 minutes of your time and you’ll learn a lot! He is incredibly inspiring to say the least.

So I shall bid thee farewell and thank you once again for being here.

Without you, this isn’t possible.

Here’s to 12 months in and to the next 12 ahead.

Until next time, think long term and keep raising the bar in experience.

Yours, In Experience,
Victoria.
